Annet Mahendru
Mahendru's parents were Russian and Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru is fluent in German Russian English, French Persian as well as Hindi. Her parents are Russian and Indian. At age 11 she choreographed a performance that gained her an appearance on German TV as a graceful Russian snow maiden that turns into an energetic Indian dancer. After high school, she graduated and earned a bachelor's degree from the Department of English in New York. Following school, she began acting classes in the HB Studio, but she left to study improvisation in The Groundlings School taking on several comedy shows afterward. Her parents were an Afghani Hindu-Indian mother and Russian father, who lived in Kabul in Afghanistan. The couple divorced when she turned 13 years old older and they was moved to East Meadow New York with her father.She stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in The Americans on FX. The Americans. Her most well-known role is the ex- KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. The actress has a regular role in The Following on Fox, The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
